In Nederland dippen we de kip van KFC in ketchup, fritessaus, Kentucky BBQ dip, Sticky Sweet Chili, Knoflook dip of Supercharger dip. Maar in Zuid- Korea gaan ze een stuk verder met de nieuwe muntchocoladesaus.
Volgens een onderzoek van Heinz zijn Nederlanders gek op saus. We gebruiken saus niet alleen bij de BBQ (63%) maar ook bij een borrelmoment (36%), het diner (39%) en zelfs bij het ontbijt (16%)!
Heinz heeft voor National Fries Day van afgelopen week een nieuwe uitvinding gepresenteerd: de Spoon Friez. De Spoon Friez zijn lepelvormige frietjes die door hun vorm meer saus, in dit geval van Heinz, kunnen bevatten.
Sauzenfabrikant Hela heeft vijf nieuwe sauzen geïntroduceerd. Vooral de Burgersaus met stukjes ui zal de snackliefhebber aanspreken. Het is een friszure, snacksaus met stukjes ui uitermate geschikt voor bij een hamburger.
Sauzenfabrikant Heinz is een zoektocht gestart naar de lekkerste hamburger die thuis is gemaakt. De beste “at-home” burger wint de “Art Of The Burger” competitie en zal een plek krijgen op de menukaart van BurgerFi.
McDonald’s België laat ons vanaf deze week kennismaken met de Smokey Chili Tomatoes McFlavor® Fries . Dit zijn knapperige frietjes geserveerd met een lichtpikante chipotlesaus en pico de gallo-salsa.
Saus gebruiken we allemaal om onze snacks in te dippen. Maar bij een hamburger hoort de saus er tussen te zitten, daar stop je een hamburger niet in. Of toch wel? Sauzenfabrikant Heinz lijkt een gouden regel te doorbreken met de “Dip & Crunch”.
